Now you can easily look up current HUD homes by zip code, city, county, price or property case number. Just go to the bottom of this page and click on the link provided.
When a HUD property becomes available for sale, usually within the first few days there is an "OWNER-OCCUPANT" priority period. If you are looking to buy a house to live in, take advantage of this priority period and make an offer before the listing is available to general public.
If you are an investor, make sure the property you are interested in is available to "ALL BIDDERS". Remember- the offers are reviewed daily, once the priority period is over, so act quickly.
Mortgage approval letter or proof of funds is required at the time of submitting an offer, so have it ready before you make your decision.
Sometimes sellers are forced to sell their residence quickly as a result of one or more of the following situations: divorce, estate sale, having purchased another property and in need of selling currently owned property, job transfers and so forth. Therefore those properties tend to sell at low prices in order to fasten selling process and tender the transaction as soon as possible. Keep in mind that HUD properties are NOT necessarily better deals than other listings. To search all available listings in your area or other areas, use MLS Search. Be sure to make well informed decision in choosing your new home or investment property!
I hope you will find this information helpful. You can count on my professional assistance in buying HUD home or any other real property.
